"I wish to get away from the paradigm of music being language-like, the esthetics that believe music (or art in general) is a form of communication. My favourite metaphor for explaining what i'm after is a tree on a meadow; the tree is just standing there, it's not a message for you, but looking at it, you may think about a lot of things, feel a lot of things... so in way, i'm trying to do music that exists like a tree."
