Aido’s journey behind the decks started early, buying his first records and learning to mix at 15. By 20, however, life got in the way, and unexpected setbacks forced him to step away from the music scene entirely.
It took a 20-year hiatus for the timing to finally feel right again, but Aido has returned to DJing with the same energy and passion that started it all—just with a lot more perspective. Today, he channels that renewed passion into Hardly Subtle, his monthly show on Phever.ie.
Musically, his roots are firmly planted in hard house, but he doesn't like to be boxed into one corner. He also plays tough house and techno. His sets can focus on any one of these genre's or sometimes a fluid mix of all three, keeping things fresh and unpredictable.
