Journalist, historian, radio host and musician, Criollo has been part of the Latin American rock scene since 1988 as well as been a renowned journalist on local newspapers since 1996 writing about different topics including art, business and politics. On radio, Criollo has been part of several News AM stations, as well as curator and producer of programs on the Radio Universidad station from the University of Puerto Rico.

As part of the Puerto Rican musical scene, Criollo has been in several important projects until the reformation in 2016 of his first musical endeavor, La Iglesia Atomica (The Atomic Church), where he is currently its musical director
