Wide and erie atmospheres, either achieved with complex percussion, glitched loops or synths touched with delay and reverb. There must be a catchy element in every single track.
Less complex and more focused on easy and soft beats combined with deep pads.
Bits & Buzz
I loved Progressive House by the end of the 90s / beginning of the 20 century. An outstanding bass-drum and a groovy dark base are important as also a bunch of hi-hats and other percussion which make the track groovy and complex. It is basically the old famous house music which is lost now-a-days between tech-house and minimal.
