Music always played a unique role in my life - I love to sing and enjoy listening to the rhythm and the beat. So finally I decided to give it a go and took DJ lessons at the Metronom DJ School in Jakarta. For me, DJing is a form of entertainment that has its own exciting challenges and complexities. Good playing skills, the ability to understand the character of a song, as well as the competence to grasp the mood and the psychology of an audience and to respond to it appropriately - all of these aspects, apart from the music itself, made me become interested in learning and mastering DJing.
Since August 2019, I played already at a number of venues in Jakarta, and the feedback I get both from professional DJs and from my audience is very encouraging and gives me the feeling that I have made the right decision. I am not bound to specific music genres, and have successfully covered in my assignments requests for R&B, Hip Hop, and House music.
