A HouseKid that grew up in the best of both House Nations (NYC) and (Chi-Town) it all started in the summer of 1981 hanging out with my cousins in the "Village NYC Washington Park" dancing to the tunes on our boombox like Gwen Guthrie (Beat the streets) and ESG (Feeling Moody) having fun until it was time to hit the Paradise Garage where I first heard about Larry Levan. Back in Chicago in the fall of that year a friend invited me to go to the Warehouse on Jefferson Street that’s when I got to Jack my body to Mr. Frankie Knuckles and from then on HOUSE was a Feeling….
