Scouse Mouse, also known as Tim Allnutt, is a DJ on KNSJ 89.1 Descanso, San Diego, where he hosts "The Adventure Playground," streaming at KNSJ 89.1. The station is renowned for its freeform social justice programming, and Tim's show aligns perfectly with its alternative music ethos.
Tim's passion for music began in Merseyside, UK, known for its vibrant musical heritage. In his teens, he discovered DJ John Peel's legendary show, which introduced him to underground acts like Captain Beefheart and The Fall. With no internet, Tim relied on intuition and album artwork to explore new music at local record stores like Reaction Records and Probe Records.
Although this is his first show on KNSJ, Tim is an experienced DJ with a history of performing at events and club nights in London and San Diego. Now, as Scouse Mouse, he aims to share his unique musical journey with new generations, hoping to inspire others as he once was.
