I'm **DJ Addict**, born 1971, based in Bern.
Played bass from 11 to 26, then wanted more. Starting in 1989 I tried building electronic music with the Ensoniq ASR-10, a laptop running a 486 processor, Cubase 1.0, the Korg Prophecy and the Roland MC-505, but not the house, techno, trance or goa stuff everyone was churning out back then. I wanted my own thing. Never quite got there, every project ran into the sand.
1996, age 25, I pulled the plug on all things musical. From 1998 to 2005 I worked sound and lights at Via Felsenau instead. And between 1998 and 2026 I danced my sneakers to pieces to trance, techno, minimal and tech house.
2026, I'm back. New weapon of choice: XDJ-RX3.
