Songwriter Adam Wedd has always been drawn to the stories that live inside songs. After years performing across London’s open mic circuit, he’s stepped behind the mic in a new way — as co-host of Open Mic Collective on Boogaloo Radio, alongside fellow musician Luke Carey.

For Adam, the show is more than just a broadcast. It’s a celebration of the very community that shaped him as an artist: London’s grassroots open mic scene.

At the same time, Open Mic Collective runs parallel to Adam’s own creative journey. He’s currently crafting his debut album, set for release in 2026, and the show offers listeners a glimpse into the influences, stories, and songs that are feeding into his music. Known for writing lyrics that are heartfelt and disarmingly honest, Adam brings that openness to radio too — sharing anecdotes, championing fellow artists, and creating a space where listeners feel connected.
