Adam Hochfelder was born August 20, 1977 (full name: Adam Charles Hochfelder) is a Canadian-American guitarist. He has won regional awards, and has placed himself in the fifteenth place of the best Canadian guitarists of all time and one of the pioneers of the Canadian establishmed of so-called "world music". Hochfelder became famous in the late nineties and in the early days of the new millenia with his band called The Valar, who cherished not only rock but fusion between rock, metal, conutry and blues.
Adam Hochfelder was born in the state Ontario in the city of Ottawa, Canada. His father was a professional violinist. Adam began playing the violin at the age of five while later shifted his interest towards the guitar (eight years). Hochfelder had had a huge impact from Ritchie Valens, the famous American singer, guitarist and composer who he used to listen to as a kid and who shaped his development. Later the family of Adam moved to the city of Chicago, in the state Illinois.
