Due to the current discourse, I feel a responsibility to be upfront about the voice acting in these plays being AI voices.
I understand that some of you may deny the work or its legitimacy outright on mention of AI and there are valid reasons for that. I'm a writer, I'd never outsource my writing to AI and would likely look on somebody elses project written by AI as being less legitimate than somebody writing from their heart, so I understand and respect your decision to do the same towards me using AI voices.
I write, edit, and produce every aspect of this myself. I don’t have the budget to hire actors. Synthetic voices let me bring the characters to life in a way I couldn’t otherwise. I'm not claiming its right to do so. I think its more nuanced than that, but personally, my work wouldn't exist otherwise.
Alright enough of that, it’s a lot of seriousness for a story about an ex-assassin grandmother living in a place called The Doodoohole Kingdom.
