Aleks Ceklic, aka Souljah, born in the tiny balkan country of Montenegro moved to Perth, Australia at a young age. Having first listened to electronic music and hip hop at the age of 11 his musical path was set. 1996 saw him attend his first rave when Jungle was rearing its head in Perth.

After a short stint on the Perth MC circuit, he got behind the decks in 2000 spinning liquid drum and bass and a healthy dose of hip hop. Things havent changed much since then, he still loves melodic, vocal and liquid drum and bass
