WORLD BLUES, featuring world class jazz guitarist Abu Djigo and singer/guitarist Gary Nelson, is a World Acoustic cd, recorded in Dakar, Senegal in West Africa and in California.
GUITARS- Abu Djigo is a world musician in the truest sense of the term, based in Italy, the USA, and West Africa. Born in Senegal into the Fulani tribe, he is adept at jazz, blues, and many African styles. Abu tours Europe regularly and travels periodically to Brazil and India to play with musicians there. He co-wrote several songs on the WORLD BLUES album with Deborah Barer and Gary Nelson.
