VALYRA

VALYRA is an Auckland-based DJ drawn to deep grooves, melodic textures and the more seductive side of house and techno.

Her sets move between deep and melodic house, progressive sounds and driving techno, with the occasional Afro-influenced track finding its way in. She’s drawn to music with atmosphere and movement — tracks that can feel hypnotic and warm one moment, then darker, heavier and more energetic the next.

Rather than being tied to one sound, Valyra follows the energy of the room, building a set gradually and letting it evolve naturally. Expect rolling rhythms, melodic moments, deep grooves and the occasional unexpected turn — all with a focus on creating that feeling where the music takes over and everyone is in it together.
