Aaron Jay started DJing in 1997 after being switched
on to dnb after visiting the legendary club night MetalHeadz at the Blue Note.
After years grinding on the club circuit, Aaron Jay’s sound was picked by the promotional team behind Byan G’s Movement night at Bar Rumba. Aaron would become a regular at the night warming up the bar.
He continued to DJ at big nights including One Nation at Brixton Acadamy when Fabio and Sarah (Groove Connection) invited Aaron to warm up the infamous night SWERVE.
2004 saw Aaron Jay take up his monthly residency at Fabio’s liquid funk night. Shortly after he began DJing on Drum and Bass Arena, Fabric, Ministry of Sound and international club venues.
In 2008 Aaron started Influence Records, a label designed to showcase new talent revolved around the deeper sound of liquid funk.
The label took a break between 2011-2015 but has since found fame again.
