Tell me Thomas, at what age did you realise you were special?
What age did you realise that you weren't like the other kids...?
And not in the way where you had a special talent, or you were smarter than the other kids, or that you got on better with boys than with girls... (Although I believe that was probably the case...),
No I mean you realised you were special in the way that; you didn't have many friends... You didn't really find that people were interested in anything you had to say...
You found that, amongst the hustle and bustle of school life, kids running and playing and starting friendships, you just didn't have anyone want to start anything with you...
Not a conversation.
Not a question about who you are, or what you do...
You found yourself wondering: "Why can't I talk
