Born in Ecuador and raised between Cuenca and NYC, el montenegro is a Pittsburgh-based DJ and lifelong musician who's been chasing great sounds for over two decades. A guitarist turned selector, he blends cumbia, reggaeton, dembow, and Latin indie into sets that are sweaty, sticky, and unexpected—music that moves you and doesn’t take itself too seriously.
