Zininzi Mgudlwa, better known as Zinny, is an afro house DJ who fell in love with house music at the age of 15 years in 2010 who then decided to pursue a professional career in Djing in 2021. Born and raised in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

For Zinny, being a DJ is more than just stepping into the booth and playing music. Afro house is a spiritual sound, therefore connecting with the music Spiritually is a core element of her creative process. When she is on stage her goal is to get the crowd on the same spiritual vibration she's on.

One of her dreams is to mentor other up and coming female DJ’s, especially in the Afro house genre. Her future plans include taking afro house to more venues across South Africa, developing her skills in music production and rocking the stage at international music festivals.
