John Kalani Zak is a voice over actor-narrator and an on-air host- producer for Hawaii Public Radio. Previous work includes producing and directing series for network television, narrating audio books for Audible.com, writing children's books, and making several documentary films on Hawaiian cultural and healing practices. He is committed to issues pertaining to the environment and is a Climate Reality Leader, trained in 2018 by Al Gore. Zak also loves sharing the world's finest music through his broadcasts on HPR and around the world via livestream. Zak has just embarked on a new podcast, called "Zak Talks Story" which features in-depth conversations with people who are doing fascinating things in this world.
