DJ Zafrul From Soulful Grooves to Afro House
My journey behind the decks began at just 16 years old, driven by a genuine love for music and the energy of the DJ culture. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of spinning at various iconic venues around Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley, creating memories across different generations of clubbers.
My early influences were deeply rooted in Soul, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop and New Jack Swing, sounds that shaped my musical identity and appreciation for groove, rhythm and timeless melodies.
Throughout the years, I’ve played at venues TinMine, TM2 at KL Hilton, Uncle Chilli’s PJ, Club 10 Plaza MCB KL, DV8, Spiral Bangsar, Aman Sky Lounge, Looks Hartamas and Noko Noko Damansara Heights, NOTTE BY ZENZERO KL, private events
Good music has no expiry date it simply evolves with time.
