Z-W doesn’t buy into the notion that house and techno should be kept from the masses. On the contrary, he takes great pride in showing a new generation of music fans how to keep it dark, keep it deep, and keep it real.

With one foot in the festival circuit and another in the underground, Z-W straddles the line separating taste from appeal. Against all odds he makes the role look easy. His respect for tradition has earned him the favor of tenured taste makers while his skill behind the decks makes him impossible not to watch anytime he plays.

In both music and mindset, Z-W has adopted a minimalist approach of late. Having always favored the more melancholic side of dance music he selects songs with a contemplative ear, transitioning between each one with expert patience.
