Cassandra is an identical twin born and raised in Queens, NY. Throughout her life she always found herself gravitating to music and was inspired to do something with it. She wanted to keep her DJ name unisex because she knew DJing was a male-dominated industry. After DJing for a year YERSTER began teaching herself how to produce music via YouTube. Since then she has played in bars, lounges, and clubs to get her name out there. With her wide variety of music selection, she has been trying to become more than your average DJ. She wanted to start creating something special while she performed, a vibe, an experience, an energy that just radiates through the crowd. Yerster was fascinated with the styles of DJ’s like A-Trak and Laidback Luke, where she studied them to learn and perfect her craft. She now incorporates samples with live mash-ups to keep her crowds entertained. YERSTER started an Instagram series where she takes all song requests.
