YELRIHS (aka Shirley backward) is a DJ, producer, and musical storyteller who seamlessly fuses house and techno to create immersive journeys on the dance floor. Known for her deep, progressive basslines and intricate synth sound design, she crafts sets that guide audiences through energy and emotion.

A passionate advocate for diversity and gender equity in electronic music, YELRIHS champions Femme House, Change the Beat, SheQ Audio, and DollHaus YEG to support underrepresented artists. Based in Edmonton, AB, Canada she is also a dedicated DJ mentor, empowering the next generation of artists. In 2024, she was honored as Femme House’s Theresa Velasquez Memorial Fellowship recipient, recognizing her contributions to the music community.
