Jaap van Zijp (aka Xam / Max Hardstyle) started out as a bootleg remixer / producer in the beginning of 2007. It didn't take long before his first mashup got aired on a big national radio station. The bootlegs that followed spreaded like wildfire all over the internet and were heard in clubs and radiostations worldwide. The urge to be more creative got him into producing his own tracks. And so on he found himself creating mainly uplifting and progressive styled trance tracks on Vectiva Recordings
