WiseMatic born and raised in Philly known to many as KooL'Est! and until recent years known by the righteous attribute of Wise, continues to make music and spin at parties on the East Coast. Wise developed his skills on the turntables as the legend of the Philly DJ was being born, when greats such as Jazzy Jeff and Cash Money were gaining fame. WiseMatic was and is a part of the vibrant Philly DJ tradition he started DJing in Philly in the early 80's, under the tutelage of WDAS FM's Andre the Giant, who recognized Wise’s talent early on.
Wise continues to spin, always creative and pushing the envelope of what can be done with music. He has extensive and in-depth knowledge of various genres of music. Wise’s spinning style is unorthodox, often spinning on the 1 and 3, rather than the 1and 2.
