A Queens, NYC native, Martin Pereyra II, grew up in the "Golden-Era" of Hip-hop & R&B. Influenced by artists such as Big L, Nas and Mobb Deep, he subsequently discovered the sounds of house music with classic tracks such as Big Daddy Kane’s “The House That Cee Built.” While studying audio engineering, Whereisfenix honed his craft of mixing and producing. His style and delivery showcase an authentic technique that incorporates aggressive synth sounds and fast-paced percussion with shuffling kicks, neck-snapping claps, and penetrating bass tones.
