Wetwear is Ross Bicknell. Since moving to Oslo a short while ago he has gained experience of the social anthropological role you need to adopt to move an Oslo crowd. Bookings at Kunstnernes Hus, Tårnet Kulturarena, Godthåb and a regular spot playing records to customers at Jaeger (while serving them drinks..) have honed his neural nous for the appropriate temperature of tuneage. As well as electronica and synthfunk you can expect new wave, abstract techno, drum n bass and more eclecticism . Also, check out Wetwear Radio where he initiates explorations into themes such as self help, modern monsters and vocal Vedderisms through a mix of field recordings, audio detritus, fx, samples, discussion and music. Regular guests bring along music which contributes to the direction of the show and leads the chat which often combines surealism, non sequiter, humour and leanings towards journalism.
