We Are Shanghai is an annual open-call compilation for Shanghai-based musicians and artists, intended to provide a snapshot to the world of the city's musical creativity in any given year.

To celebrate the 7th album, we're putting out a series of interviews where the artists on the album talk about the song they worked on, and also telling us a bit of their relationship with the city. At the end, of course, you get to hear the song.
