It seems quite obvious that Warsaw Disco is having a deep fondness for the darker aspects of music, preferably drawing inspiration from 80′ underground music such as EBM, Nu Wave and old school electro but also from the sound of the seventies. The projects name refers to ‘Moskow Diskow’ as well as to the track ‘Warsaw’ by Joy Division. Further on, Sarna’s parents flee from Poland due to communism before he was born and raised in Zürich. And no, Warsaw Disco did not take part in Clockwork Orange. Don’t let yourself fool by his dark look – he truly is a nice guy with a big sense of humour.
