DJ & Promoter WUTA has been playing his trade in Limerick for the last couple of years, becoming a regular staple in the club-scene recent times. WUTA is a jack of all trades type DJ when it comes to genre and style, being just as comfortable with the bass heavy sounds ranging from dubstep up to garage as he is with the likes of disco, funk or house. But despite this, he himself will tell you that he is a self-professed "bassline-junkie", and has become somewhat of a specialist in the garage-tipped sub-genre. It is this sound in particular that can be heard alongside the previously mentioned bass styles at his self-ran club-night known as WaGwan, of which he is both a co-founder and resident DJ. Through the creation of this club-night and its monthly events, he has started to see more regular bookings start to come in, not just as a solo DJ but alongside WaGwan's remaining two members; 40 Hurtz and Cheeseman.
