Vixxie's journey began in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, where she was born to two very musical parents. One an opera singer and the other a Baroque recorder player, professional level. Vixxie's formative years were centered around the arts, mainly music and musical theater. In 1992, Vixxie discovered house music, in Brighton, England, where she lived for 2 years. It was a love that stayed with her, and as Vixxie prioritized her children and young family life in Australia from 1997 onward, she often broke out the cassette tapes she made off the radio in England to expose her babies to "the music of the gods". Eventually the children grew up, and in 2020, one of them bought a DDj-400, and during the lockdown, learned to play on the decks. Soon after, he showed his mum the basics he learned, and on 17, Dec, 2020, Vixxie (the dj) was born! Vixxie practiced her strides until son needed his machine back and she bought a DDJ-1000. Vixxie uploads music weekly.
