Vinyleaters is a socialnet music group I (Christopher Dear) started in 2009 under the jokey tagline "Your one-stop Steely Dan resource." Our patron saints are Fagen and Becker (and Al Kooper), if you let some tell it.

Our conversations (and occasional meetings) tend to focus on vinyl and vinyl culture, but the overall conversation is gradually expanding to include other "vintage" music media, music reviews and criticism, news clippings, etc.

If I (or someone else) pulled you into this group, you definitely have the right to leave...but I (or someone else) most likely pulled you into this group due to my (or someone else's) appreciation for your taste in, and appreciation for, good music. Does that make sense?

We cover all years and all genres, from the old to the new.
