Born and raised in Effiakuma, in the Western Region of Ghana, Niiyo (real name Nii Adjetey Mubarak) is a dynamic DJ and radio personality who has made waves in Ghana’s entertainment scene. His journey began after winning the prestigious SKYY & MTN DJ Competition in 2012, which catapulted him into the spotlight.

Since 2013, Niiyo has been a key voice on Skyy Power FM, hosting electrifying shows like Westside Carnival and covering major events such as the MTN FA Cup Final. His talent and dedication have earned him multiple accolades, including Western DJ of the Year, a Premier Award (2023), and a nomination at the Ghana DJ Awards (2018).

With a background from Takoradi Technical School, Niiyo blends technical precision with infectious energy, making him a favorite on air and at events. Beyond the turntables, he continues to shape Ghana’s music and entertainment landscape, inspiring the next generation of DJs.
