The 'Voice of Nor Serount' Armenian Radio is the longest-running community radio program on 2RRR. The "Voice of Nor Serount", translated from Armenian as the voice of the "new generation", celebrates 35 Years of continuous broadcasting this year. The program has been on air since 16th November 1988, every Sunday between 7.00 - 9.00 pm.
This milestone anniversary has been achieved thanks to the dedicated and volunteer broadcasters, with the support of the Armenian Community Association of Australia Incorporated and its cultural division, the "Nor Serount" (New Generation) Cultural Association. Over the past year, the volunteer broadcasters' team has extended beyond Australia's borders with correspondents and reporters based in Lebanon and Syria.
