VFSix is the name of Russian trip-hop. They were the first to take up this genre in the big country to the East. In 2005 they recorded their first album vfsecret - tender, full of city melancholy, twilight of night streets. The second album (VF’s World, 2007) represents an outlook to the West, with contributions by Berlin based Pat Appleton (DePhazz) and Afro-Danish singer Pearl.
Music of VFSix is regularly played by multiple radiostations such as Silver Rain, Radio Jazz , Renaissance Radio and many other stations of Russia and Europe. Videos of VFSix's songs and live performances are rotated on O2TV, MusicBoxTV, A-ONE, NeoTV, StyleTV, MTV.
In their third album, named VF’s Paradise, VFSix continues to travel around the Planet, recording songs with different musicians of the World. They are from Mexico, Germany, USA, Denmark, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, Australia.
In the album you can hear many styles: from traditional classics and and blues to modern ambient and trip-hop.
