Behind project VAREANT stands Oliver Jankovic,
progressive psytrance producer from Serbia. Born and
raised i n Ruma. He has been i nvolved i n music since
he was a young child. He graduated from elementary
music school,played i n the l ocal tamburitza orchestra
for over 10 years. He l ater transferred that knowledge
to the guitar and,in l ove with heavy metal music,formed
several bands.Later,by going to the first trance party,all
that slowly and gradually changes.Falling i n l ove with
this psychedelic and different world,dimension,began
with the parties of the famous TECHNOKRATIA
organization i n the city of Novi Sad called
“Transplant”,in the early 2000s. That’s where i t all
started. After many years of being i n this world and
partying,he decided to try himself out i n the electronic
music world. In 2013 he enrolled i n the SAE i nstitute i n
Belgrade and founded a project called VAREANT
(Variant Area) i n 2015.
