Exhausted from life's pressures & not feeling ready to truly ‘adult’ yet, we took a chance at not growing up by running away from the societal life & all its responsibilities. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned & said our goodbyes as we headed for Dublin airport. Starting our adventure in NYC, nearly one year later & we have experienced things we never thought possible.
From life living in the Peruvian Amazon with the Shipibo tribe, gaining skills working on a chocolate farm in Colombia, hiking with over 940 dogs in Costa Rica to volunteering for a number of organisations & schools, hitchiking the Bolivian Salar on a salt truck, venturing over 30 hours to a secluded Caribbean island & walking over 30km to Machu Picchu. It's been incredible. But we're just getting started. We describe ourelves as an Irish couple & self-diagnosed wanderlust sufferers who are travelling around the world, one ungraceful step at a time.
