Born out of a love for China’s D.I.Y, underground and independent music and art scenes, Under the Wall (www.underthewall.org) is an online publication devoted to showcasing the uniqueness of these cultures as they continue to develop.
By creating a platform to showcase the best in D.I.Y, underground and independent music, art and photography throughout China, Under the Wall hopes to promote these cultures to more people throughout the world and help link these Chinese scenes with other like-minded international scenes. UTW's main goal is to help these artists, musicians and culture-growers to gain more international exposure by simply getting more original English content out there on them, as there simply just isn't enough of it out there yet.
