Each song connects to the previous song, whether through the lyrics, song title or artist's name. The sonic heartbeat of the show usually lives between 1956 and 1984, but no genre or time period is off limits. The second show, Unbroken Chain, is geared toward folks who enjoy listening attentively to the music. Like Chain Of Fools, each song connects to the next. But rather than being improvised the songs are carefully curated and the links are quirkier. For example, a link might be something like "wighat." Dev searches all the songs he can find on wighats and chooses the one that feels most right, both sonically and thematically. But the show always finishes with a connection to the first song, creating an Unbroken Chain of music. Warning: will blow your mind.
