The goal of the University of Waterloo DJ (UWDJ) club is to promote the art and craft of DJ’ing, as well as provide quality entertainment for any event. We provide an environment of like-minded people who share a passion for music of all kinds, and a desire to share that music with others. We are committed to educating and developing young DJ’s and promoting those with more experience.

The UWDJ club takes pride in having the ability to foster cultural diversity with club members from all corners of the globe. Many of our DJ’s provide a diverse array of music from various cultures and backgrounds, ranging from North American top 40 & mainstream, to hip-hop, to Bhangra & Desi, to underground electronica.

As well as diversity, UWDJ also takes great pride in promoting unity through music. In such a culturally diverse environment as Waterloo, music is one universal language that has the ability to unite people of all backgrounds on the dancefloor.
