Born from a need to escape from the rigid structures that are a growing tendency in underground music, Two Dots Recordings, based in Lisbon and Stockholm, has one simple objective: The proliferation of an alternative.

With club music becoming increasingly restricted to clubs, it is our belief that there is intelligent electronic music that can sound just as good at 5 in the morning in a dark room full of people, as it can at the end of the day through a pair of headphones on your way home.

Melodies and harmonies as a way into people's heads and pulsing off-kilter beats designed to move the listener, melded together with minimalistic textures and sparse rhythms.

Taking sonic cues from Cologne, Berlin, Paris and London, Two Dots is an outlet for a form of electronica that is as challenging as it is accessible.
