Tropical DJipsies was born in 2019, on 8 March, the day of the international celebration of women's rights, at a Giraffes & Penguins party in Brussels.
Initially made up of Ani and Maria Ilia (now former members), DiDi was joined by RaqL, and in December 2022 the collective expanded to include 3afifa (currently based in Morocco) and Chel.
Passionate about music, dance, the synergy of groups, solo or together, these 4 DJs are a veritable bomb of energy. Their motivation is to celebrate the power of women and to promote the presence of female artists on stage.
