Nick "TripMonk" has embraced the new wave of PSYCHEDELIC BREAKBEAT being marketed under several monikers, especially as PSYCHEDELIC TECH-FUNK. This new hybrid genre attempts a fusion between several genre influences. It takes its basic structure and backbone from classic breakbeat, and the more modern future-breaks. It then adds in psychedelic and techno influences, and draws heavily influence directly from psychedelic trance. The result is something unlike anything previously concocted.
This aspiring young man has proven himself as a favorite amongst southern California's diverse electronic music scene. TripMonk (formerly known as Enve), has been a local favorite playing at all kinds of music gatherings and events ranging from massive festivals, to clubs, raves, all the way to intimate outdoor musical gatherings; making him one of the most diverse members of California's electronic music scene.
