Heres Part 1 of an old mix I initially intended to flip as a 7 part tape series based on some of the party & shindig sets I was blessed to spin live @ over the last decade-ish.
Playing or sharing my rap records is something I appreciate now more than ever, and finding ourselves without the parties, gatherings & events we once took for granted, in todays climate, had me figuring now is as good a time as any to drop it, or at the very least a segment or two.
Dope Def Fresh Hype Choice Smooth & Raw (the titles ripped from a Kane verse for those uninitiated) is me flicking thru strictly wax joints out my personal crates, blended and mixed in real time with some rubs/ziggas & tidbits of bonus sprinkles added on the multi to give it a hint of extra spice here n there.
Best served as an accompaniment to any occasion, id like to think its designed to move both the honeys and hardrocks, from the kitchen to the commute, the barbie to the bathroom, the party to the park.
