The year was 1986... I was 15 and I was introduced to the world of Mixing and Scratching. I quickly obtained some turntables that were not matching and had to be rigged for use with a mixer. 2 years later my mom bought me my first set of matching tables or if you prefer, "wheels of steel". Since then I had been mixing. About the same time I met up with my partner which then we became R.P.M. (Rhythm Performance Music) Productions. We ran 4 turntables at weddings, house parties & some local clubs in the south bay area. I continued to be mobile for 18 years when I did my last gig in Dyersburg Tennessee where I lived for 18 years. Now back on the west in Oregon, I have dusted off the old tables and crates of music for a return of making mixes to share with those who miss the best music of the 80's and 90's.
I was very close to selling all of my music & gear but I am hoping to bring some life back into the first passion of mine for all of you. I am NOT digital. I am Old School!
