Born and raised in Vienna, Tolay, aka. Maximilian Pausch, started his musical journey when he was 6, when he was given a Keyboard by his parents. It was this moment that he knew he wanted to be a musician. The big poblem was that there were no friends that also played an instrument so he stopped to take lessons.
He first became interested in the electronic dance music scene in 2007. He did various warm up sets in clubs, hosting major names such as Sebastien Bennett, Andrew Spencer, Ph Electro, Rene Rodrigez and many more. Then there was this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as Volksgarten, Palais Kinsky, Ottakringer Brauerei, Phoenix Supperclub Vienna and many more.
Tolay is a fighter and since 2011 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft. Later in 2011 he met his new partner Austrian and they teamed up together.
Suffice to say, the House scene should be expecting big things from Tolay in 2012.
