YOUR DAY - YOUR WAY

I am surprised at how few people I speak to know so little about Toastmastering - thinking it to be something reserved for Lord Mayors' Banquets and Royal ocassions.

Far from it - I perform many of my duties at Weddings, Christenings, Special Birthdays and social gatherings for everyday folk, where I help the hosts organise their event and free them up to be able to sit back and enjoy their day / evenings with their friends and guests.

Not to say that I haven't assisted at a number of corporate events, award ceremonies, annual dinners and the like - again, taking over the event management so that the organisers can sit back a little and enjoy the event they put so much time and effort into organising.

My involvement can be minimal or major, ranging from greeting your guests and announcing speeches, to helping organise the event itself - venue selection and management, developing the event agenda and timing, speech writing, MC'ing all or part of the day,
