From a WIFI free studio way out in the mountains, the Sideshow produces music and dj mixes unbound by style or fad. His sonic range respects no boundaries. Having been raised in Minneapolis, his influences span the territories of Prince to punk rock. When he djs, no one genre is adhered to nor will he ever pre-plan a set. The only things that matter to him is whether a track tells a good story and will make people dance. In any one of his 300+ hours of recorded dj sets you’ll hear hip hop, funk, heavy bass frequencies, Talking Heads, house, and disco punk. What he produces is even harder to pin down. It’s an amalgamation of everything he listens to, plus the unique frequencies resonating within him–a sound that is anxious for the world’s bullshit to cease so we can all just get down.
