The BigShot Sound System - the U.K's internationally acclaimed original reggae radio show from Newport City Radio - deep in the heart of South Wales.
Established in February 2007 with 1ft Wide Radio, we built a small but hardcore fanbase.
We were invited by Newport City Radio to join their team in 2009 and that enabled us to broadcast to a much wider audience.
We broadcast live on Newport City Radio on the last Sunday every month at 8pm UK time / 3pm Eastern time /12pm Pacific time etc (times change very briefly to allow for DST)
With roots firmly planted in the 1960's, you can expect to hear the finest cuts of ska, rocksteady, Boss, early & original reggae.
We believe that it's all about the music, so the BigShot philosophy is - less talk, more tune.
