“The Weird Al Show” was a weekly program dedicated to the music of American singer, songwriter and parodist "Weird Al" Yankovic. After releasing his fist single in 1979 “Weird Al” has gone on to release fourteen studio albums, ten compilation albums, forty-six singles and two children’s books. Weird Al has also stared in the film “UHF”, the TV shows “The Weird Al Show” and “AL TV”, and has appeared in films such as “The Naked Gun” and many TV programs.

Whilst Weird Al is most known for his parody songs, the show also looks at his original songs, style pastiches, polka medleys and live songs. News about Weird Al and trivia about his songs, albums, music videos and TV and film appearances is dispersed throughout the show.
